Yo...Oh, thank you and it's such a pleasure, Jo. Your experience means you really know the market you're designing for. It's taken me ages to finish this post because, of all things, I needed photos of the pattern cover which is a bit mushed up on the copy I took home by now! And in the end the photos I got this arvo were poorly focused but I just had to go with it. And every time I've gone back to edit this post-in-progress I've thought that I want to be that person in the photos, haha! Definitely going to squeeze a Calendar Dress for me into my making schedule somehow! xxJanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03255370960186659884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4050620469655885892.post-25067326815659328192018-05-23T02:19:12.583-07:002018-05-23T02:19:12.583-07:00Oh ladies! Maybe I should pinch it back for a shop sample after all :D I am rather jealous of your being able to just 'pop in' to the Merchant & Mills shop! I think your fabric choice and size are great too. I'm about to make one for my husband, I've been Procrastinating for Professionals about it. Its a lot of effort for something that may not be right (men are so fussy, no?). So we went to the Merchant and Mills shop (yes we are lucky enough to live in Sussex, UK) and Marc tried the shirt on there. Phew. He likes it. Now I just need to sew the bugger. Your version is good motivation!sogosewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11105603877968077028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4050620469655885892.post-41589308381231531702018-04-12T20:32:59.413-07:002018-04-12T20:32:59.413-07:00Thank you! I have a question: do you think you could get away with using a shorter zipper on the back and still be able to get in/out of it easily enough? I think it might look nice if the zip didn't extend as far over the booty :) Would love your insight. Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05253041818992223622noreply@blogger.com
